Orchard hours are adjusted to close at 5 p.m. daily instead of 6 p.m. starting on Sunday, November 2nd
Hours and Varieties
As a result of a smaller than usual crop this year, the selection of apples available at this time is greatly reduced from a normal year, but for now there are still plenty of good choices for everyone. We may run out of some of the remaining varieties more quickly than others in the next few weeks.
The Apple Barn is open every day from noon until 5 p.m. The following varieties may be available depending on supply:
- Apples
- Black Willow Twig
- Golden Delicious
- Golden Russet
- Ida Red
- Lemon Lightning
- Red Delicious
- Rome Beauty
- Winesap
- Pears
- Bosc
- Cider
- See the Cider page for the most up-to-date information
- This week's pressing occurred on Wednesday, October 29 and consists mainly of Ida Red, Winesap, and a small amount of Russet, Gold and Red Delicious, Black Willow Twig, Bosc Pear, Lemon Lightning, and Melba. You can find gallons, half gallons, and pints of cider at many of our markets and at the Apple Barn while supplies last.
