Hours and Varieties
As a result of a smaller than usual crop this year, the selection of apples available at this time is greatly reduced from a normal year, but for now there are still plenty of good choices for everyone. We may run out of some of the remaining varieties more quickly than others in the next few weeks, and we plan to close for the season on Wednesday, November 26th.
The Apple Barn is open every day from noon until 5 p.m. The following varieties may be available depending on supply:
- Apples
- Golden Russet
- Granny Smith
- Ida Red
- Red Delicious
- Rome Beauty
- Winesap
- PLUS, two new varieties to try from a neighboring orchard to help provide more selection as our apples run out
- Sweet Zinger
- Ludacrisp
- Cider

- This week's pressing occurred on Wednesday, November 12 and consists mainly of Ida Red, and a small amount of Winesap, and smaller amounts of a few other varieties. You can find gallons, half gallons, and pints of cider at many of our markets and at the Apple Barn while supplies last.

- We will NOT be at the first Dane County indoor market this week but will plan to attend on Nov 22 with apples and cider.
